This is my first picture -- I'm not quite all the way born yet! You might think I'm going to be chestnut, but if you look close you can already see my white tail -- I'm PALOMINO!
(Man, was my human family happy...)
Mom and I are getting aquainted here... I still look pretty red but my tail is whiter than ever and now you can see my white mane.
A couple of hours later... I'm all dried off. Look at my fabulous straight legs -- hey, how many foals have YOU seen with such gorgeous gams??
(Mary Beth got so excited she cut my nose off when taking the picture!)
What's this "hay" stuff good for??? Think I'd better wait 'til I have some teeth to find out...
Ahhhhhh.... Now THAT'S what I want!
Goodness gracious! Only a few hours old and now my human "mom" Mary Beth is already TRAINING me?? Whoever thought up this IMPRINTING stuff... With or without all this rigamarole, I KNOW I'm gonna LOVE humans anyway!
This being a foal business is SO exhausting...
Please excuse me while I blend into this nice, soft straw and take a little nap... Mom will watch out for me while I catch my Zs, I'm sure...
But, soon I'm up and at 'em again -- ready for my next adventure...
